The super group Duran Duran are known for their hit songs “Hungry Like The Wolf,” “Rio,” and “The Reflex.” Andy Taylor, one fifth of the groups original line up has released an autobiography titled “My Life In Duran Duran.” The book is a really detailed read. Andy Taylor was a member of Duran Duran from their early days until 1985. After he left the group in 1985 he attempted a solo career with the release of his album “Thunder.” Andy was not a member of Duran Duran during their late 1980’s return with the albums “Notorious” and “Big Thing.” Andy missed the groups entire 1990’s run all together. In the early 2000’s Andy Taylor and former drum player Roger Taylor reunited with Duran Duran for a reunion tour. The reunion tour was a huge success and led to the release of a brand new album titled “Astronaut.” Following the Astronaut U.S. tour and the death of his father, Andy Taylor once again left Duran Duran.
Based on Andy’s writings it appears that this departure from Duran Duran is final. He seems to be enjoying his life living in Ibiza, Spain with his wife Tracey and his family.
