Sandy “Pepa” Denton of the group Salt N Pepa has been on a quest to rejuvenate her career the past five years. She starred in several VH-1 Celeb-Reality Series and the biggest success of them all was the Salt N Pepa show which reunited her with her former rap partner Cheryl “Salt” James. Sandy “Pepa” Denton has released a new autobiography titled “Let’s Talk About Pep.” The book was written with New York Times best-selling author Karen Hunter. I’m sure many people will be curious about the life of Sandy “Pepa” Denton. Salt N Pepa had a ton of hits in the 80’s and early 90’s. They are best known for their songs “Shake Your Thang,” “Push It,” “Let’s Talk About Sex,” and “Shoop.” After the group disbanded, Pepa made headlines when she married Naughty By Nature front man Treach. The book “Let’s Talk About Pep” is motivational and inspiring. Pepa details the early years of her life, early relationships and her rise to the top as a member of Salt N Pepa. The great thing about the book is that there is a lot of information about the recent years in her life, including her success with VH-1. The book features some really great photographs. Fans of hip hop music will really enjoy this revealing book. “Let’s Talk About Pep” features a forward by Queen Latifah and an epilogue by Missy Elliott.
