Patti Labelle fans are sure to be pleased with the release of The Essential Patti Labelle. The two disc collection features many of Patti’s best known hits. Featured on the collection are the songs “New Attitude” and “On My Own,” featuring Michael McDonald. These two hits were two of Patti’s biggest hits during the 1980s. Patti’s 1970’s classic “Lady Marmalade” opens up the second disc. There are a lot of really great Patti Labelle songs here such as “Over The Rainbow,” “Last Dance” and the song “My Love, Sweet Love,” from The Waiting To Exhale soundtrack.
