Star Trak/Jive/Legacy has released “Kelis-The Hits.” The 11
song compilation features the most well known hits from the eclectic, funky, hip-hop inspired artist. The CD opens with her debut single “Caught Out There” from her debut album “Kaleidscope.” The song is followed by the megahit “Milkshake.” “Milkshake,” was the first single from the album “Tasty.” One hit on the album that is unexpected is the Old Dirty Bastard song “Got Your Money.” The good thing about “Kelis-The Hits” is that the biggest hits are here. The most recent big single “Bossy” featuring Too Short is featured on the compilation as well. The Kelis album “Wanderland” was never officially released in the United States, but the lead single “Young, Fresh and New” is featured on the greatest hits set. “Wanderland” is a fan favorite among Kelis fans. Kelis collaborations such as “In Public” featuring Nas, “Millionaire” featuring Andre 3000, “Truth or Dare” featuring N.E.R.D. and “Finest Dreams” featuring Richard X are also featured on the compilation. “Kelis-The Hits” is a decent collection of her biggest hits.
