Michael Jackson’s album “Thriller” is one of the most well known album’s of all time. Featuring hit songs such as “Billie Jean,” “Beat It,” and “Wanna Be Startin’ Something,” the album stayed on the top of the Billboard Top 200 album charts for a great deal of the early 1980’s. Every song on the album was a hit and the album catapulted Michael Jackson to the pinnacle of pop music stardom.

Sony has re-released Thriller in a special 25th anniversary edition. This special edition of the album includes the album completely re-mastered. The sound quality is awesome. All of the songs on the original release are featured in there original form re-mastered. The CD includes six bonus tracks. The bonus tracks are previously un-released. Guest artists on the bonus tracks include Fergie, Will.I.Am, Akon and Kanye West.

The CD is featured in deluxe packaging. The color booklet inside of the CD features full color photographs and song lyrics. Also included with the 25th Anniversary edition of “Thriller” is a DVD. The DVD features the short films for “Billie Jean,” “Beat It,” “Thriller,” and the “Billie Jean,” performance from Motown 25: Yesterday, Today and Forever.

The 25th anniversary edition of “Thriller” is a great purchase. Fans will be very pleased with the deluxe re-mastered release of “Thriller.”
