R&B songstress Angie Stone is back with her new CD “The Art of Love and War.” This very personal CD is one of Angie’s finest offerings. The CD opens with the up-tempo song “Take Everything In.” This song is followed by the soulful “Baby” featuring the legendary Betty Wright. Betty Wright isn’t the only legendary singer to make an appearance on “The Art of Love and War.” James Ingram is featured on the song “My People.” Angie Stone even brought out Pauletta Washington to accompany her on the song “Happy Being Me.” “The Art of Love and War” also features a guest appearance by Chino. The CD features 14 great new songs. Stand out songs on the album include “Baby,” “My People,” Make It Last,” and “Wait For Me.” “The Art of Love and War” was released on Stax Records and was executive produced by Angie Stone and Collin Stanback.
