New vampire Zoey is getting settled into the House of Night finishing school. Zoey feels a part of everything and things are going good. She even has time for a romantic life as she dates a few guys. Things seem to be going great for Zoey when things turn for a worse in town. Teenagers, the human ones, are turning up dead all around town. People think that the House of Night are involved. Zoey is left to deal with worrying about the human friends from her past and trying to keep sanity within the House of Night. Shocking betrayals threaten everything in Zoey’s existence.
