Paul McCartney has a music career spanning over 45 years. He recently turned to Starbucks to promote his latest release “Memory Almost Full.” The release is available in a single disc release and also in a special digi-pak edition that includes a DVD. “Memory Almost Full” is a nice collection of newly recorded Paul McCartney Songs. The two-disc edition includes 13 tracks and 4 bonus tracks for a total of 16 tracks in all. The songs on “Memory Almost Full” are reflective in nature, especially “Ever Present Past,” which is about how one can spend so much time dedicated to their work rather than to their love life.
Paul McCartney fans have had many good things to say about the album. Many have said that it is his best album in years. It’s hard to imagine that Paul has had time to dedicate to his music career given his recent bitter divorce. He touches on the subject of divorce in the song “Gratitude.”
Stand out tracks on the album include the first single “Dance Tonight,” “Ever Present Past,” and “The End of the End.” If you are a fan of Paul’s solo work or his work with The Beatles you should enjoy “Memory Almost Full.”
The DVD portion of the release includes a live performance recorded at The Electric Ballroom in London and the music videos for “Dance Tonight” and “Ever Present Past.”
