Berkley College of Music Graduate Doug Neumann has released his critically acclaimed CD “Doug Does Decaydence.” If you are familiar with Decaydence Records, surely you’ve heard of the hit songs they have released by their artists Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco and Gym Class Heroes. Doug has covered songs from the artists featured on the Decaydence label in his own style. He gives the songs a jazz edge and a flavor all his own. He covers the Fall Out Boy song “Dance Dance,” Panic at the Disco’s songs “But It’s Better If You Do,” and “Time To Dance.” Doug re-creates this songs in a jazz style with piano, horns and a full musical arrangement. Doug also covers the Gym Class Hero’s song “Viva La White Girl.” “Doug Does Decaydence” features 14 songs in total and is now available. It’s a really great CD. Even if you don’t normally listen to jazz music this is a CD you may enjoy, especially if you are familiar with the artists on the Decaydence label.
