Warner Home Video has done something that many studios have failed to do. They managed to wrap a late 70’s early 80’s series on DVD that lasted for 7 seasons. Numerous 80’s related one hour shows are in limbo as far as subsequent releases, but Warner did an excellent job with the Dukes of Hazzard DVD releases.

The Dukes of Hazzard-The Complete Seventh Season is now available on DVD. The DVD box set includes 17 episodes from the shows final season. If you followed the series, you will recall that Bo and Luke Duke drove out of Hazzard County during the shows fifth season to join the Nascar Circuit. They returned to Hazzard County at the end of the fifth season and remained on the show for two more seasons.

By the 1984-1985 season, the shows 7th, it was clear that the time had come for the show to wrap things up. Although the series had a loyal fan base, in comparison to shows like Miami Vice, Magnum P.I., and Knight Rider, Dukes saw it’s popularity on the decline. The show has always maintained a huge fan base in the Country music community and repeat episodes aired for years on the Country Music Channel.

The 7th season DVD box set includes 17 episodes.
