MTV jump started the television reality series back in the early 90’s with the premiere of their series The Real World. The Real World is easily the longest running cable reality series. MTV is sticking to a genre that works for them. In the past few years they have launched Laguna Beach, the spin-off series The Hills and 8th and Ocean. As a matter of fact, 8th and Ocean was created by the creators of Laguna Beach.

8th and Ocean follows the lives of ten Miami models living close to one another and pursuing their modeling careers. They are working models for one of Miami’s top modeling agencies. The cast includes an exciting mix of men and women of various ages, and all are at different points in there career. The cast also included a set of twins—21 year old Sabrina and Kelly Aldridge.

During the first season the cast had to deal with various highs and lows, numerous rejections, romance and acne breakouts at the very worst time.

8th and Ocean premiered on MTV this past March and on September 12th, 8th and Ocean The Complete First Season arrives on DVD. The first season DVD box set includes all ten episodes from the shows first season one two discs and a third disc with special features. The special features disc includes the following:
